My name is Cayla and I am a proud dog mom of two fantastic pups!

Jasmine is a Puggle and her younger sister, Molly, is a Bull Terrier Mix.

We happily call the Midwest home, although we all could do without the snow...

Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted a puppy.  My first letter to Santa asked for a dog, my persuasive paper in the 4th grade was about why my parents should let me have a dog, and in high school I thought for sure I was getting one for my 16th birthday.

While I lived a very busy childhood, I never quite understood why the puppy I had always wished for never entered my life... until 2014 when I adopted Molly.

Molly turned my spirit for life around and opened my heart to an entirely new level of love.  Her excitement for life was more than I could handle at times, but she was MY dog.

She was the dog I had been wishing for all my life.  Molly has a unique look to her - 

perky ears, short fur and a whole lot of spunk, but the number one feature is her spots.

Named in honor of my furry BFF, Dog Spots is a blog dedicated to dog friendly places, products and parenting.  In a world where we plan vacations based on dog friendly hotels and hope to have a boss that will let our dog lay next to our desk, Dog Spots is your go to resource for connecting the dog lovers with the dog friendly. 

After all, if my dog can't come, I'm not going.
